Ordering nutrients
Ordered a truck load of lime from local farmers cooperative, and some micro nutrients to ensure our hemp crop is going to be the best ever.
We are growing a dual fibre/seed crop for the main crop.
On another plot we will trial lots of varieties and lots of fun additions...
Planting is planned for November 10th dependent on weather

New locations
Due to weeds the main crop is moving to some old cane land. Soil tests there have shown highly acidic soils, so on comes the lime...
Still growing in old location - just in a small and more experimental way. Lots of varieties in more controlled way at the hemp farm.

more changes to hemp farm
sorry for lack of posts - the hemp farm is about to open and completing the building (hemp rendered) including museum and demonstration centre has been a big task! also have bought a new bus to carry people - will send pics of that also soon :)
back on the farm - well, more changes - this time I've moved location of the hemp farm
decided to work with some local cane farmers - why, because they need a new industry
if they are involved on all levels, then why would they not grow lots more hemp next year?
they are highly equipped and open to new things - hoorah!
so, ploughing the soil again this week, new soil tests and will go from there
yes, will still document and offer photos as we go - of hemp next to cane I guess!
